2 Ingredient Pork Chops
This has been my go to recipe during a busy week for years, it requires minimal prep and cook time is fast and simple! All you need are a couple bone-in, thick cut pork chops, and a special seasoning from your local HEB, then you’re set! Save this recipe and throw it into your rotation of monthly recipes, your family and friends will think you’re some pork chop master! Also, the HEB Grillin’ Rib Rub goes well with pork, beef, and even chicken! Can you tell I’m obsessed with HEB?!
- 2 bone-in, thick cut pork chops
- 1 tsp HEB Grillin' Rib Rub
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- Let pork chops sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Smother seasoning rub on both sides of pork chops.
- Set stove on medium high heat and add 1 tsp coconut oil in oven safe pan.
- Sear pork chops for 3 minutes on each side, only flipping once.
- Immediately transfer to oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes.
- Remove pan from oven and place on cool surface.
- Cover pan with foil and let pork chops rest for 10 minutes before cutting or serving.

If you don’t have an oven safe pan, simply remove the pork chops from the skillet and use a small baking dish, add 3 more minutes of cook time in the oven. Covering the pan or baking dish with foil is the final and most important step to follow! If you want juicy pork chops, you have to let them “sweat it out” prior to serving. The juices will redistribute throughout the pork chops leaving you with the juiciest cuts of meat!
