Apple Spiced Holiday Punch
Tis the season for month long festivities and holiday parties! Step out from the usual party treats & sweets and make my Apple Spiced Holiday Punch that’s sure to be a crowd pleaser! I made this for the Houston Latina Bloggers Holiday Brunch and it was a hit! Great news is that it’s easy to make, and pretty cost effective in terms of getting the most for your dollar! This serves a party, so get ready for a fiesta! After all, everyone needs a little spice in their life!
This requires very minimal prep the night before, so the day of it’ll only take you 5 minutes to finish putting together!
- 1 jar (32 oz) cider & spice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 liters ginger ale
- 2-3 large Honey Crisp Apples
- 1 bottle (25.4 oz) Blood Orange Italian Sparkling Soda
- 4 cups Bacardi Gold Rum
- 3 tbsp mulling spices
- 5 lbs ice
- The night before: In a medium pitcher, add 1 jar cider & spice, 2 cinnamon sticks, 2 cups Bacardi Gold Rum, and 3 tbsp mulling spices. Place in fridge and let it steep overnight.
- The day of: Dice 2-3 Honey Crisp Apples into small cubes and add to pitcher, remove the core but leave the skin on.
- Transfer the punch from your fridge into an extra large pitcher. Add 2 more cups Bacardi Gold Rum, 2 liters ginger ale, 1 (25.4 oz) Blood Orange Italian Sparkling Soda, and 5 lbs ice. Stir and serve immediately over ice.
- Wait to put the ginger ale until the punch is ready to serve. You don’t want it to go flat before guests arrive! Same with the ice, watered down punch is no good! Serve and enjoy!
