Bridal Extravaganza
I had a fabulous time at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza, it was the perfect way to meet local vendors, and start the planning process. I’m not going to lie, it felt pretty amazing to be congratulated all day on my engagement! Love is in the air, and I’m sharing my experience as well as my favorite vendors! My favorite part about this weekend was sharing it with local bloggers who are also Brides to Be, Ruth, Lan, and Joana! Abigail of @shopgirlblog put us together through social media and I’m so grateful to have met them all! All picture credits go to Paty Lennon, owner of Paty Lennon Photography. Overall, this experience was well worth it and I recommend this event for anyone planning a wedding!
Cakes by Gina
I spoke with Gina herself, and it felt like catching up with a good friend. She had lines and lines of people waiting to sample her cakes all day long! My favorite cake samples for sure, as they use a buttercream frosting for the filling.
Cypress Photo Camper
This mobile photo booth is the cutest thing ever! I loved how unique it was and we had a blast taking pics inside! This was super popular at the Bridal Extravaganza!
Paradise Weddings and Travel
I spoke with Maritza and Linda, and they were incredibly helpful in giving me recommendations and answering all my questions. I’m planning a destination wedding so I’m so happy I found them!
Real Blooming
This was by far my favorite backdrop! It was made out of real flowers, and it was such a pleasure to chat with Mary. She’s a local gardener turned florist, with a mission to reduce the negative impact cut flowers have on the environment. Her passion just beamed from her and she’s local, just a couple things I loved about her!
My Jewelry Cleaner
This stuff is the real deal! I had my ring cleaned on the spot and it sparkled like never before, you could literally see the rainbow in my ring after it was cleaned! And just one cleaning kit lasts you 3-5 years! Such a good investment!
Magic Mike Live
I mean this one speaks for itself! Serena was so sweet as well, ask for her!
Impression Bridal
When a popular bridal boutique suddenly closed its doors late last year, Impression Bridal was quick to respond! They saved the day for countless brides by providing 50% off gowns or free gowns from their outlet. And that’s something I always admired them for, so I made sure to pay them a visit! Also, their fashion show was on point!
Morningstar
One of Houston’s best donut shops, you can have letters made for any special occasion! Need I say more? They were absolutely delicious too, I had dibs on the “A” for my future last name!
