Detox Cucumber Mint Water
After this week’s Super Bowl festivities my body was not feeling 100%. Smonday (Monday after the Super Bowl) was pretty slow for most people I know, this drink recipe is a quick way to restart your body and get your week going! My body was somewhat dehydrated and I’m already feeling better after just two 8 oz servings! Cheers to my second Beautiful Bebidas post, because this is proof that pretty drinks don’t necessarily have to include sugar or alcohol! Tip: The longer you let the fruits infuse in the water, the tastier your drink will be! I used frozen berries which instantly gave the drink a pop of color and naturally sweetened it!

- 8 oz blueberries
Instructions

For the cucumber, some people leave the skin on and some people peel it altogether, I prefer to peel only half of it because the skin gives it a nice crunch. So when peeling I’ll peel vertically, then skip a piece, and peel again alternating a couple times. Cucumbers provide valuable antioxidants, and anti inflammatory health benefits to our bodies. They’re low in calories, and high in fiber, which aid in digestion, and I actually really love the flavor of a freshly sliced cucumber! Make sure to wash them really well prior to slicing, and opt for organic if you can.
