Bring 8 cups salted water to a boil and make pasta according to package (boil for 1 minute less than suggested cook time), drain and set aside.
In a medium skillet, fry bacon until fully cooked through, remove bacon from skillet and set on clean plate.
Lower heat to low medium, and leave residual bacon grease in pan.
Add flour and stir for a couple minutes to cook off the flour taste. It will be thick but smooth.
Fold in 10 oz smoky bacon shredded cheddar cheese, and stir until you have the consistency of a thick sauce, remove from heat.
Place shells in oven safe casserole, add butter and cheese sauce, and thoroughly mix together. Spread shells evenly on pan, add remaining shredded cheese, Panko, and top off with cooked bacon.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until top is just barely browned.
