Mexican Guacamole
I’ve made this for friends, coworkers, family, and just about anyone who shares my avocado obsession! I think if there’s one thing this country can agree on is on our love for guacamole! Football season is upon us so get the party started with this authentic Mexican Guacamole! Guac is life! Mexican Guacamole

Authentic Guacamole
Ingredients
- 2 avocados from Mexico
- ½ jalapeño deseeded
- 1 large tomato
- ½ cup chopped purple onion
- juice of 1 lime
- 4 sprigs cilantro
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Tortilla chips for dipping
Instructions
- Wash all vegetables and set aside.
- Cut tomato in half, remove seeds and slice into medium chunks.
- Rinse onion before and after chopping, slice into small pieces.
- Mince cilantro.
- Remove seeds from jalapeño and cut into tiny pieces.
- Slice avocado in half, remove seed, and put into molcajete.
- Add all vegetables, salt and pepper, and lime juice into molcajete.
- Mash until desired thickness.
- Serve alongside tortilla chips!
