Open your phone and I want you to count how many apps you use for creating content? I counted mine and I have 30 apps!! (This does not include the actual platforms where you post the final creation, it’s JUST the apps to create or edit.)
I have my go-to apps that I use on a daily basis and I’ll quickly break them out by what I use them for below. These are strictly apps for your phone and work well for me, let me know what apps you’re loving right now!
Best Apps for Photo Editing:
- Lightroom – Instantly edit your pics with presets, this is the Holy Grail of editing for bloggers / influencers. I also have the desktop version and pay for the premium version, endless options to make your pics pop!
- PicsArt – Easy to use, plenty of filters and creative add ons FOR FREE
- Snapseed – Basic tools in an easy-to-use interface, great for beginners
- Quickshot – Love the dreamy filters this app offers, quickly change the color of the sky, add overlays and sparkle effects.
- Photoshop Express – Syncs with your Lightroom pics and if you’re already using Photoshop on your laptop, you’ll pick it up quickly. It’s a much more simplified version of the blown out desktop version, but the potential is just as great!
If you’re wondering what presets are, I got you! They’re pre-edited photo settings that you can purchase from experts and download them for use on Lightroom. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but this is exactly how you get your feed to look professionally curated. Once they’re set up, it’s as easy as editing a photo with ONE CLICK. So yes, it’s worth it! Also, you can find hundreds of reasonably priced presets on Etsy! Prices range from $2-$50 depending on how many come in a pack. Just to give you an idea, I bought one pack of 5 different presets from one buyer for just $7!
